It is already well over a week into this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and with eight kids shows already seen, I am very behind in sharing Arlo's reviews but The Listies 6D (Twice as Good as 3D) seems exactly the right place to start. His first words after it finished were an emphatic, 'We have to tell other people they've got to see that show!'
'That show is the best show ever. At first it is crazy, and at the end it was really, really crazy. There were two most crazy things, when they shooted toilet roll at us and also when we threw the aliens at the ninja gran. But mum, do you know what real puppet sick is made of?'
So yes, if an anarchic and very funny, very interactive hour of snot, pants, vomit and ninja jokes sounds up your street - or an hour spent watching a small child of your choice experience hysterical delight and complete captivation - Arlo, and I, heartily recommend this show, on until the 21st of August in Edinburgh and from the 24th to the 27th at the Soho Theatre in London. 'I'm not going to call them, "The Listies", I'm going to call them, "The Besties"'.
